Meet The Team
In addition to René Corado who lives in California, USA, and our Board of Directors, we have a small team located in Guatemala City. The team consists of dedicated volunteers who commit to helping community in need and sending children who cannot afford education to local school. They have been volunteering with El Lustrador foundation since it started in 2015.
Marta Corado
Marta is a teacher at Manuel Marcos Martinez school. She grew up in a house of a teacher. She developed passion for teaching since she was a child. She has been teaching for more than 25 years.
Caissa Valdez
Caissa is a young teacher who loves children and she is very passionate in teaching. She volunteers at Manuel Marcos Martinez and actively encourages children living in landfill to come to school.
Dick Valdez
Dick is an architect who has his own business but he is also a teacher by profession. When he's not at work, he volunteers to teach at Manuel Marcos Martinez school.
