Thanksgiving and GivingTuesday

Happy Thanksgiving ELF's friends!

Thanksgiving day has many meanings to many people. While we can be thankful for what we have, we can also be mindful that not everyone is celebrating today. Maybe on this holiday we can try to make the world a better place in the future.

We can help children leaving near the landfill on zone 3 of Guatemala city. The families who live in this community scratch out a living by scavenging at the landfill, and their children attend the local school, Manuel Marcos Martinez. However, even though the school serves deeply impoverished children in Guatemala City, it receives little governmental support. It lacks basic infrastructure that brings dignity and safety for the kids. With your help we will feed the children regularly and build a room for them to eat in, and gather during hurricanes and other times.

Next Tuesday November 30 is #GivingTuesday but you can start donating today to help feed these families in need.
