A Sincere Thanks to Our Donors and Supporters

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our amazing donors and supporters for making a significant impact on the lives of underprivileged children in Guatemala through your support of the El Lustrador Foundation (ELF). Our mission is to provide educational access and maintain schools that foster a nurturing and encouraging environment where children can thrive and remain in school.

ELF is dedicated to serving communities near the Guatemala City basurero (landfill) in Zone 3, where many families make a living by scavenging. We proudly support students at a school near the landfill, as well as those receiving education at Las Guacamayas School in Morazán, El Progreso, Guatemala. 

As part of our ongoing dedication to education, ELF also partnered with Biblioteca Paco Piñas in San Martín Jilotepeque, Guatemala, by donating school supplies and sponsoring a field trip for young volunteers, including transportation and meals. Furthermore, we are supplying school materials for 110 children at Escuela El Zapote in San José Pinula, Guatemala Department, as well as for 15 students in Chiquimula department, Guatemala, and Los Achiotes School in Morazan El Progreso.

We offer a special thank you to the dedicated members of ELF’s Board of Directors—René, Linnea, Eddie, Don, René Jr., and Dexter—for their steadfast commitment, leadership, and generosity.

In January, ELF President René Corado visited Guatemala, an incredibly moving experience for all involved. During his visit, he personally awarded scholarships to deserving children and provided school supplies to all students at the mentioned schools.
